Bad hair days may be a source of agony and depression particularly when a busy evening is scheduled. Nothing seems to work, curls lose their bounce, bangs head in new direction and you are unable to manage those locks to go where you want them and stay there. Just do not get panic. We have a simple and effective solution to your hair problem which only needs a bit extra effort and some additional time.
All You Need is;
Take all ingredients at room temperature.
- 1 Egg
- 1 table spoon lemon juice
- 1 table spoon olive oil
- 1 table spoon coconut oil
- 1 table spoon almond oil
- 3-4 drops of your favorite essential oil
- 2 table spoon Henna
First of all mix your oils and warm them either on stove or in a microwave. Now beat egg in a bowl. Add lemon juice and your oil mixture and whisk well. Then comes the time for henna. Add henna small portions while keep beating; this prevents any clump formation and makes a homogenous paste. If you think its too watery and is likely to dribble from head you may add more henna to improve the consistency. Just before applying try to warm this preparation up to an acceptably temperature.
How to Apply?
|
Put your hair into small one inch sections and apply this mixture directly to your scalp, pursuing towards the ends. Start form one side and proceed towards the other till whole head of hair is covered. Take an old towel or cotton cloth, wet it with warm water and wrap your head. A final wrap with a shopping bag to keep the warm inside is a good idea. Stay in a hot environment while you allow this treatment to work. Wait for half an hour, then uncover your head and go for a shower.
Instructions for Shampooing
Before applying shampoo, just wet your locks very well and rinse thoroughly to remove henna. Now apply shampoo and massage it onto your scalp with your finger tips. Then gently work it through your hairs with your fingers before you rinse. Just do not scrub. Leave your hairs hanging down as you wash them instead of bunching on top of head, which may result in hair breakage. Repeat at least once to remove any residues of henna or oils.
